Manual backups let you snapshot before risky changes. Access Backups tab in TCAdmin at fpsdedicated.com.
Creating Manual Backups
- Backups tab > Create Backup: Compresses current state to storage.
- Or File Manager: Right-click folder > Download (saves locally).
- Stop server first for consistency.
Restoring Backups
- Backups tab: Select archive > Restore (overwrites current files).
- Confirmation prompt; logs action.
- Restart server post-restore.
Best Practices
- Backup before: Mod updates, config edits, major builds.
- Label via filename timestamps.
- Keep local copies for disaster recovery.
Corrupted? Ticket with backup name for manual extraction.
