DNS / custom domain for servers (SRV records, subdomains) Print

  • 0

Your fpsdedicated.com servers are hosted on open datacenters, so no client-side port forwarding needed—ports are auto-opened. Check TCAdmin Network tab for your Game Port, Query Port, RCON Port (e.g., 28015/28016/28017 UDP/TCP mix).[docs.tcadmin]

Key Ports

Standard per-game defaults (customizable).

  • Game Port: Main join port (UDP/TCP); e.g., 7777 ARK, 28015 Rust.

  • Query Port: Server list ping (UDP); usually game+1.

  • RCON Port: Remote admin (TCP); game+2, password in server.cfg.[docs.tcadmin]
    TCAdmin auto-increments if conflicted.

Firewalls

All handled server-side.

  • Windows/Linux firewalls auto-open on start (enable in Monitor config).tcadmin+1

  • DDoS protection filters abuse—no action needed.

NAT/Port Forwarding (Self-Hosted Only)

If mirroring locally (not recommended):

  • Forward external:internal ports on router (e.g., WAN 28015 → LAN server 28015 UDP/TCP).[community.tcadmin]

  • Enable uPnP in TCAdmin if router supports (auto-forwards).[docs.tcadmin]
Our cloud: Ignore—use dashboard IPs directly.

Verify open: Tools like canyouseeme.org or in-game ping. Blocked? Restart or ticket us. Next: DNS/custom domains.[community.tcadmin]
